Herding

Herding Classes: Intermediate

These are for those handlers who understand herding and are now gaining skill.

There will be an introduction to farm/ranch activities such as moving sheep in pens, through gates, sorting, etc.

Herding Classes: Ranch Dog

These sessions are geared toward the more advanced dog-handler team.

The dog must be able to herd off leash and be under control around sheep.

Activities will focus on skills required for working around a ranch or farm. Examples include sorting chute, foot bath, loading stock trailers, moving sheep from pasture to pasture, sorting and penning.

Open Field Practice

A small group of individuals get together every couple weeks to practice longer outruns and to work in an open field.

Contact Nancy (nancy@BrigandsHideOut.com) for more information.

Boundary Herding Practice

This is an open group practice time for all levels.

As a group, we will help each other with the various sections for the boundary obstacles (AKC Course C).

Cost is $15 per dog or a practice coupon.
